Tour the Store
While there are other Goodwill computer stores, ours is quite unique in the selection and quality of products that we offer. Since many of you don't have the opportunity to visit an actual store, we thought we would provide a glimpse of what our retail location is like.
Complete Systems
We always have several complete Pentium class systems on the sales
floor. Most of these are considered low-end in today's market,
but they're great for school and office work, surfing the internet,
and playing older games. Most new computer buyers tend to overspend
in traditional retail stores, but if they come to us first they
can get what they need for considerably less.
Bargain Systems
For the truly budget conscious buyer, we have many 486 systems, from
the truly low end (and under $20) to the fastest 486 systems running
at 133Mhz. These are great for beginners or for installing less
power hungry operating systems like Linux.
Parts
Most of our sales are made up of parts. We have assorted cards,
cables, adapters, input devices, accessories, and much more. New
items are put on the shelves daily, and many of our customers
stop by several times a week to see the new arrivals. You never
know what kind of strange parts may turn up!
Macintosh
For Macintosh fans, nobody in town can match our selection or prices.
We have everything from old 512K Macs to PowerMacs. Printers,
keyboards, mice, modems, and more can be purchased separately
if you already have a system. We have regular Mac customers who
visit us almost daily!
Vintage
For the nostalgic programmer or budding computer historian, we
even stock vintage items. Apple, Commodore, Atari, T.I., IBM,
and more all find homes after arriving in our store. Nobody else
in town regularly sells vintage computer items like we do, both
hardware and software. We're fans ourselves, and we even have
our own computer
museum in the store.
